What We Beleive
Sound Theology = Doxology
Our ministry believes that sound biblical teaching and theology naturally lead to doxology—that is, genuine praise and worship of the Lord!
Our Beliefs
The Holy Scriptures
We believe that the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired
Word of God, given through human authors by the Holy Spirit. Scripture is true and
trustworthy in all that it affirms, and it is the supreme and final authority for our faith,
doctrine, teaching, and lives. The Bible is sufficient to guide us in knowing God,
understanding the gospel, and living in obedience to Him. All teaching, ministry
practices, resources, and theological convictions of Doxa Ministries must be examined
and governed by the authority of God's Word.
Key Scriptures: 2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 19:7–11; 2 Peter 1:20–21.
The Triune God
We believe there is one true and living God, eternally existing in three distinct persons:
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, sharing
the same divine nature, glory, and majesty. God is sovereign, holy, righteous, loving,
merciful, and perfect in all His attributes. He created and sustains all things for His glory
and according to His sovereign will.
Key Scriptures: Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Colossians
1:16–17.
God the Father
We believe God the Father is the Creator and sovereign ruler of all things. He governs
His creation with wisdom, righteousness, and purpose. He is holy and just, yet rich in
mercy and love toward His people. In His grace, He sent His Son into the world to
accomplish redemption for sinners and adopted all who believe in Christ into His family.
Key Scriptures: Genesis 1:1; Ephesians 1:3–6; John 3:16–17; James 1:17.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was
conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and perfectly
fulfilled the will of His Father. He died on the cross as the substitutionary sacrifice for
sinners, bearing the judgment their sins deserved. He was bodily raised from the dead
on the third day, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He
alone is the mediator between God and humanity, and He will return bodily in glory to
judge the living and the dead and consummate His kingdom.
Key Scriptures: John 1:1–14; Romans 3:21–26; 1 Corinthians 15:3–8; 1 Timothy 2:5–6;
Acts 1:9–11.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God and the third person of the Trinity. He convicts the
world concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment; brings sinners to spiritual life; unites
believers to Christ; and indwells, seals, sanctifies, and empowers God's people. He
illuminates the Scriptures, produces spiritual fruit, distributes gifts for the building up of
the church, and enables believers to grow in holiness and faithful service.
Key Scriptures: John 14:16–17, 26; John 16:7–14; Romans 8:9–14; 1 Corinthians
12:4–7; Galatians 5:22–23.
Humanity and Sin
We believe God created humanity, male and female, in His image and for His glory.
Every human being possesses inherent dignity and worth as God's image-bearer.
Through Adam's disobedience, sin entered the world, bringing guilt, corruption, and
death. All people, apart from Christ, are sinners by nature and by choice, alienated from
God and unable to save themselves from sin or reconcile themselves to Him through
their own works.
Key Scriptures: Genesis 1:26–27; Genesis 3; Romans 3:10–23; Romans 5:12;
Ephesians 2:1–3
Salvation by Grace through Faith Alone
We believe salvation is entirely the work of God's grace, accomplished through the life,
death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Sinners are justified before God through faith in
Jesus Christ, not by their works or personal merit. Through Christ, believers receive
forgiveness of sins, reconciliation with God, and the righteousness credited to them
through faith. Those who are saved are born again by the Holy Spirit and are called to a
life of repentance, faith, and obedience. Good works do not earn salvation but are the
fruit of genuine faith and God's transforming grace.
Key Scriptures: John 3:3–8; Romans 3:21–28; Romans 5:1; Ephesians 2:8–10; Titus
3:4–7.
Repentance, Faith, and the Christian Life
We believe the proper response to the gospel involves repentance from sin and faith in
Jesus Christ. Genuine faith rests in Christ alone for salvation, while repentance involves
a change of mind and heart that turns from sin toward God. Though believers continue
to struggle with sin in this life, God works in them through His Spirit to produce
increasing holiness, love, obedience, and perseverance. The Christian life is one of
continual dependence upon God's grace, prayer, fellowship, worship, and growth in the
knowledge of Christ.
Doxa Ministries seeks to encourage this growth through faithful biblical teaching,
accessible theological resources, discipleship, and the encouragement of believers at
every stage of their Christian walk.
Key Scriptures: Mark 1:15; Acts 20:21; Romans 6:1–14; Philippians 2:12–13; 2 Peter
3:18.
The Return of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ will return bodily and visibly in glory. God will raise the dead
and judge all people in righteousness. Those who belong to Christ will enjoy eternal life
in the presence of God, while those who remain in their sins will face everlasting
judgment. God will bring His redemptive purposes to completion, establish the fullness
of His kingdom, and make all things new. Our hope rests in the resurrection of the dead,
the return of Christ, and the eternal glory of God.
Key Scriptures: John 5:28–29; Acts 17:30–31; 1 Corinthians 15:20–28; 1 Thessalonians
4:13–18; Revelation 21:1–5.
The Glory of God
We believe that all things exist for the glory of God and that the ultimate purpose of the
Christian life and ministry is to honor Him in everything. Sound biblical teaching and
theology should lead to doxology: genuine praise, worship, and adoration of the Lord.
The pursuit of theological knowledge must never become an exercise in human pride,
but should cultivate humility, reverence, obedience, and love for God.
Doxa Ministries exists to glorify God by faithfully proclaiming His Word, exalting Jesus
Christ, equipping believers with sound biblical teaching, and encouraging spiritual
growth. We seek to serve humbly, teach faithfully, and make much of Christ rather than
human personalities, achievements, or ambitions. All that we do should point people
toward the greatness, goodness, and glory of God.
Key Scriptures: Psalm 115:1; Romans 11:33–36; 1 Corinthians 10:31; Colossians 3:17;
1 Peter 4:10–11.
